OBJECTIVE }
The prompt for this project was to create a cohesive visual system and
related event materials for a hypothetical or an existing conference.
APPROACH }
I chose to redesign and expand on campaign modeling materials for
the 2021 ATypI Typography Conference in Paris, France. The topic of this
conference is Rendezvous, which means “coming together.” The new
materials used vivid colors to create contrast and conflict, expressing the
energy of different ideas. As my concept was developed based on the
main topic and the theme of the conference, I used a series of graphic
elements, vibrant colors, and a variety of typefaces in different languages
to convey the idea.
