OBJECTIVE }
Promote and create a hypothetical film festival for a chosen film director.
The goal is to integrate various forms of messages into a cohesive
visual language that fully reveals a common thread as well as embodying
the aesthetics from the chosen director’s films.

APPROACH }
I defined a theme to explore in Wong Kar Wai’s film catalog: Lost Souls—
Piecing Together Emotions with Wong Kar Wai. Themes such as
loneliness characters and lovelorn outsiders are the central features in
his films. This project attempts to incorporate Wong’s artistic expression
by referencing five well-known films: As Tears Go By, Days of Being
Wild, Chungking Express, Fallen Angels, In the Mood for Love
, through
consistent visual language and design a set of deliverables.
